Mohammad Rezaul Karim acts as the Land Settlement Advisor in the Technical Assistance Team of the Project. He is responsible for leading a team of land sector which is responsible for settlement of Khas land to the landless people of different char areas under Noakhali. Coordination with the Local Government Institutions in the District, Upazila and Union level and support to extend services of other GoB line agencies are his core function. He is the key person to maintain liaison with the project and the concerned implementing agency i.e. Secretary of the Ministry of Land, Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, UNO, and AC (Land)s in the government authorities.
He obtained his M.sc in Mathematics degree from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1992. He joined in the Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Cadre in 1995 and currently working in the project on lien. He has a vast working experience for the last 22 years in Bangladesh Civil Service and in the project’s 2nd phase. He worked in the position of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Executive Magistrate, Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Commissioner Land in various districts. He took higher training on Administration and Management in Japan, China, Malaysia and India. He joined many workshops and Seminars in the Netherlands and Italy.

He is married by Rumana Sultana in the year 1996 and graced by four children, two sons and two daughters. Rumana did her Master’s in Bangla literature from the National University of Bangladesh and was engaged in teaching for sometimes.
